GATWICK AIRPORT REDEVELOPMENT

A large scale redevelopment of Gatwick North Terminal. Conceptually focused on "quintessentially" British culture taking inspiration from agriculture, history and art. Designing a vast array of amenities including eateries (restaurant, bar and cafe,) a retail space, workspace, and a lounge. The design aims to celebrate British identity, telling a different narrative in each space through spatial planning, materiality colour and lighting. The redevelopment investigates how themed environments and culturally driven design can improve passenger wellbeing, reduce travel stress, and strengthen Gatwick Airport’s identity as an international gateway to Britain.
